Nicole Azzopardi has worked as a journalist for more than 15 years. Having started out as a sub-editor at The Sun online in Britain, she then continued on to formally study journalism in London and obtain her National Certificate for the Training of Journalists. Returning to Australia, she has since worked as a state government media officer, a news reporter at Australian Associated Press, and as a radio producer on ABC 702. Nicole has interviewed politicians such as former prime minister Kevin Rudd, Labour heavy weight Anthony Albanese, as well as creatives such as Naomi Watts, Jimeoin, Renee Geyer, James Reyne and the late Bryce Courtney. Most of all, she loves bringing out the rock star in ordinary people and helping them find the words to share their unique story. In addition to her journalism work, Nicole leads workshops in the yoga of writing at her Torquay-based studio. She is also the author of The Alchemy Cookbook - Transforming Food Into Medicine.
